We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the LinkGram
service:

Phone Number — used as your account identifier and
for OTP verification.

Profile Information — your display name and
optional profile photo.

Messages and Media — text, images, audio, video,
and files you send. Stored to enable delivery and sync.

Device Information — device model, OS version, and
push notification token.

Usage Data — connection timestamps and error logs
for service reliability.

Contacts — accessed only with your permission to
help discover LinkGram users. Not stored on our servers.
We do not collect payment card numbers, government
IDs, or sensitive financial information.
- Verifying your phone number and authenticating your account
- Delivering messages, calls, and media
- Sending push notifications
- Showing presence and status to your contacts
- Enabling typing indicators and read receipts
- Detecting and preventing spam and abuse
- Improving app performance and fixing bugs
We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to
third parties.

With other users — your display name, photo, and
online status are visible to your contacts.

Service providers — cloud hosting, CDN, and push
notification services under strict confidentiality agreements.

Legal requirements — when required by law, court
order, or to protect user safety.

OTP codes — automatically expire after 5 minutes
- Log files — purged after 30 days

Deleted accounts — permanently erased within 30
days of a deletion request

- Authentication tokens are cryptographically signed (JWT)
- Servers protected by firewalls and access controls
- Passwords are never stored — authentication is OTP-only
- OTP codes expire in 5 minutes and are single-use

LinkGram is not intended for children under 13 (or 16
in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us
immediately if you believe a child has created an account.
